Steve lived his entire life in Los Angeles until 2008, when he and his family moved to Dallas, then to Nashville, to establish a presence in the fast-growing states of Texas and Tennessee. Although he still maintains an office in the City of Angels, Steve’s primary office is in Nashville. He resides with his wife Jen and their five children—Piper (16), Elijah (15), Ryleigh (13), Micah (12), and Josiah (11). When he’s not working, Steve can be found playing basketball, playing music, golfing, reading, riding his off-road motorcycle, or just hanging out at home.

However, I must admit that nothing compares to spending quality time at home with my family. A day at the zoo, weekly lunches with my kids, laughing at the dinner table and making memories together—it’s those times I enjoy most. And it’s that gift of life and the joy that comes with it that I want to share with others and bring with me in what I do professionally.”
STEVE MARTINEZ, President
After graduating with degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, San Diego, Steve Martinez entered the sports and entertainment industry as an administrative assistant at a nationally recognized booking agency in 1994. He quickly learned the idiosyncrasies of the business and was promoted to a position as one of the top contributors to the growth of the firm. After serving as the company’s Director of Sales, Director of Client Relations, and Vice President for almost 20 years, Steve ventured out on his own to start Stonewood Entertainment LLC.
Over the years, Steve has booked and produced shows for such artists as Fleetwood Mac, Jay Leno, Martina McBride, Daughtry, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Sheryl Crow, Drew Carey, Lionel Richie, Dana Carvey, Gavin
DeGraw, Earth Wind & Fire, Lifehouse, OneRepublic, The Band Perry, Lee Brice, Little Big Town, The Doobie Brothers, The Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Loggins, Bonnie Raitt, and Wayne Brady...just to name few.
In addition, Steve has secured the world’s most renowned speakers and personalities in sports, politics, business, technology, and film. Steve's attention to detail, organizational skills, integrity, experience, personal service, and ability to be calm under pressure have helped build a solid and reliable reputation among corporate meeting planners, event producers, artists, agents, managers, and a variety of talent buyers alike. These character traits have also proven to be effective as president of Stonewood Entertainment. As he did early in his career, Steve is once again indulging his creative side by managing a variety of artists and entertainers, overseeing their day-to-day business affairs, advising and counseling them in professional matters, and assisting them with long-term plans and personal decisions which may affect their career.
